Volt Resources Limited (ASX: VRC, FSE: R8L) is a unique, multi-commodity battery minerals company.

 

The company had a global strategy including supplying European and Lithium-ion-Battery manufacturers from the Company’s strategic lithium and graphite projects. Volt Resources has a 70% controlling interest in the Zavalievsky Graphite business in the Ukraine. This is a significant strategic resource within the EU due to its proximity to key markets, access to European battery manufacturers and renewable energy. Volt is also in the process of acquiring significant lithium licences in Serbia. The company also owns one of the largest graphite resources in Tanzania with a measured JORC resource of 461Mt and a Proven Resource of 127Mt.

 

Volt Resources is further making strategic inroads in the US EV battery sector, and announced a joint development agreement with Urban Electric Power (UEP) and American Energy Technologies Co. (AETC). The agreement will leverage Volt’s graphite production capacity in Europe and Africa to produce non-spherical graphite products including conductive graphite for the battery market. The collaboration project will further involve testing non-spherical graphite to improve alkaline battery performance.

 

Volt’s strategy is to become an integrated battery materials producer, assisting in the global movement towards decarbonisation and benefitting from momentum in electric vehicle sales.
