Zero Emission Vehicles For A Net Zero Tomorrow

H2X Global is pioneering the transition to hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles, delivering zero-emission solutions tailored for professional drivers.

Founded by two automotive industry veterans with over 30 years of experience, H2X has been developing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles for more than a decade. Recognizing a gap in the market for professional-grade hydrogen mobility, the company was established in 2019 to provide a cost-effective and scalable path to clean transportation.

H2X secured its first major contract with Swedish waste management firm Renova, valued at SEK 17 million (€ 1,48 million), with potential follow-on tenders of up to SEK 330 million (€ 28,76 million) after successful delivery of the first contract.

A Unique Approach: Retrofitting for Speed and Scale

Instead of building vehicles from scratch, H2X takes a capital-efficient approach, partnering with legacy automakers to retrofit existing vehicle platforms with its proprietary hydrogen powertrain technology. This capex-light strategy accelerates market entry, reduces costs, and delivers proven zero-emission mobility for fleet operators.

Why Hydrogen?

  • Superior Energy Density – Hydrogen delivers 147 MJ/kg, far surpassing lithium batteries (0.5 MJ/kg), enabling lighter vehicles with greater payload capacity.

  • Faster Refueling – Hydrogen refueling is significantly quicker than battery-electric charging, maximizing fleet uptime and efficiency.

  • Lower Mineral Intensity – Hydrogen fuel cells require fewer critical minerals, ensuring longer vehicle lifespans and easier recyclability than BEV alternatives.

  •

With a strong foundation in engineering excellence and industry partnerships, H2X is now preparing to go public via an IPO in 2025, marking a new phase in its mission to scale clean, hydrogen-powered transportation globally.
