BLINKKED and DGWA setting up strategic partnership

DGWA is cooperating with leading and rapidly growing berlin based youth-lifestyle smartwatch StartUp BLINKKED.

BLINKKED smartwatches combine outstanding fashion design with smart technology such as notifications for whatsapp, facebook and calls as well as selfie camera control or activity tracking – all for an affordable price of € 159,–

Leading retailers like Urban Outfitters, Saturn, Mediamarkt, Amazon, Galeria Kaufhof as well as Christ are already selling BLINKKED`s analog intelligent watches. Lufthansa Worldshop is planning to list BLINKKED in Q3 2016.

Next steps will be the launch of a second product line and the introduction of watchstraps with integrated NFC payment technology. BLINKKED is also setting up strategic B2B partnerships with various traditional watchmakers since smartwatch technology is expected to be part of more than 50% of all watches within the next decade.

Nokia just bought French StartUp Withings for $ 191 million in cash – that casts an massive spotlight on BLINKKED because Withings’ watch has less features and is targeting only the sportive group but not the substantially bigger group of lifestyle oriented people.
